There’s an unnamed tradition that South Korean tech giant Samsung has been closely following for years where it releases its flagship Galaxy S series and Note series every year sporting the same processors may it be the Qualcomm Snapdragon or Exynos variant. However, this year is pretty unique as Samsung is about to launch its new Exynos 9825 on August 7 which is the same date when it will launch Galaxy Note10 and Note10+.
The official Twitter handle for Samsung Exynos posted a short 11-seconds video throwing in some of the words like ‘Intelligent’, ‘Evolved’ etc thereby keeping the performance and specs for the upcoming chipset in the background although it did mention that upcoming Exynos 9825 is slated to release on August 7.

Exynos 9820 which was used in Galaxy S10 and S10+ earlier this year was manufactured using an 8nm node and if the rumors are to be believed, the upcoming Exynos 9825 is manufactured using 7nm process similar to Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. Using the 7nm node will make the new chipset more powerful and less power consumption thanks to the new and improved node. This could probably help Samsung bridge in the gap between the performance on both Snapdragon 855 and Exynos 9820 SoC launched earlier this year which was pronounced.
Coming back to Exynos 9825, Geekbench reports for Galaxy Note10+ have already appeared testing the new chipset while the standard Note10 isn’t lagging as well. Both the upcoming Note10 series smartphones will be the first to get the new chipset slated to release on August 7 as aforementioned.
Samsung will be holding a separate launch event on August 5 for its Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 while the August 7 is booked for Galaxy Note10 release in New York where it will unleash the new and powerful chipset as well.
