The Glyph Interface is morphed into a chic ROG-ish monochrome Glyph Matrix comprising of 489 LEDs at the back that gets you information on notifications and beyond.
Oppo Reno 14 Series
Launch Date: July 3
I guess we have seen a lot of Reno phones launching ever since we started the listicle on upcoming smartphone launches. To grace our July 2025 edition, we have Oppo Reno 14 Series launching in India on July 3rd at 12 noon IST. The series will have a standard and a Pro variant, speculated to be priced between INR 40,000 and INR 50,000/-. The vanilla Reno 14 will be powered by a Dimensity 8350 SoC, while the Pro punches a bit upwards with a Dimensity 8450 SoC under the hood. There’s 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 3.1 storage on-board as well.
There’s also an OnePlus Pad SE in the works with an 11” LCD panel, a 9340mAh battery, and 33W SuperVOOC charging, slated to launch alongside.
Tecno Pova 7
Launch Date: July 5
Well, Tecno has become a smartphone maker with phones launching almost every month. We now have Tecno Pova 7, the upcoming offering featuring a 6.78” AMOLED panel and it is powered by a Dimensity 7300 SoC. There’s 8GB RAM, 128 and 256GB storage variants, and runs on Android 15 OS on-board.
Tecno Pova 7 is equipped with a seemingly humongous 7,000mAh battery paired with a 45W fast charging tech. There’s an 8MP front and a dual 108MP + 2MP rear camera setup on-board. Tecno is equipping the phone with a feature called Delta Light Interface which basically encapsulates the triangular-shaped camera setup.
Tecno Pova 7 Ultra
Launch Date: July 5
Well, don’t miss your hands on a slightly powerful Pova 7 Ultra launching alongside the vanilla Pova 7. The phone is equipped with a Dimensity 8350 SoC, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and runs on Android 15 OS. The phone too uses a 108MP primary snapper like Pova 7 but with OIS followed by a secondary 8MP ultrawide cam at the back. On the front, you get a 13MP snapper. Finally, it will bring on-board a 6,000mAh battery pack (comparatively smaller than Pova 7) paired with 70W wired and 30W wireless charging tech.
AI+
Launch Date: July 8
There’s a new brand in town, aka AI+. The smartphone maker took it to X to showcase two smartphones launching in India – Pulse and Nova 5G, exclusively on Flipkart, Flipkart Minutes, and Shopsy. Madhav Sheth, former CEO at Realme India, heads the company, so we are expecting the brand that unleashes an array of smartphones in the Indian market to possibly target budget and mid-range buyers, although that remains to be seen.
We don’t know much about the phones as of now, but there are speculations. Nova 5G is expected to be powered by a Unisoc T8200 SoC and will carry a price tag of INR 5,000/-, making it super affordable for budget buyers. Of course, other specifications will be in line with the price tag. Let’s wait until we get an update on the same.
OnePlus Nord 5
Launch Date: July 8
Most of the upcoming smartphone launches are happening in the first half of July. We have the OnePlus Nord 5 in the picture, launching on July 8. A much-anticipated mid-range smartphone from OnePlus, Nord 5 is expected to fetch a price tag of around INR 30,000/-. The device has a 6.74” OLED panel, 120Hz refresh rate, and will run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. It may not have a flagship chipset, but the performance is on par with many upper mid-range devices.
Nord 5 is expected to use the same 50+8MP dual rear camera setup as Nord 4, plus a 16MP front snapper. On the battery front, speculations suggest we could get a beefy 7,000mAh pack paired with 100W fast charging tech.
OnePlus Nord CE5
Launch Date: July 8
Apart from the vanilla Nord 5, we will get to see the OnePlus Nord CE5 as well on July 8. The phone will see a Dimensity 8350 Apex SoC under the hood paired alongside Mali-G615 GPU, LPDDR5X RAM, and a meaty 7,100mAh battery paired with 80W SuperVOOC that will power the device throughout the day even if it is subjected to heavy usage. On the optics front, we have a 50MP Sony LYT-600 shooter with OIS from the OnePlus 13.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7
Launch Date: July 9
Samsung Galaxy Fold7 is incoming and to be honest, I couldn’t be more excited. The phone is a successor to Fold6, duh! Just a few days ago, tipster Evan Blass released renders for the upcoming Fold7 ahead of its July 9th launch. It appears to have three major colors – Jet Black, Blue Shadow, and Silver Shadow. The phone brings a 200MP primary snapper as speculated. It is speculated to arrive with an 8-inch primary, 6.5” cover display, powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Galaxy AP and up to 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB storage.
Galaxy Z Fold7 has a 4400mAh battery powering the phone paired with 25W fast charging tech. It runs on Android 16-backed OneUI 8.0 under the hood. The foldable device stands at 4.5mm when unfolded making it one of the thinnest foldable smartphones out there. Galaxy Z Fold7 will debut at the Unpacked 2025 event happening on July 9 alongside Flip7 and Flip7 FE, to name a few.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra
Launch Date: July 9
Amidst all that, we have Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra in the rumored list of upcoming smartphone launches in July 2025. The phone, as the name suggests, punches upwards as the South Korean giant prepares for an ‘Ultra’ launch. We could see a 200MP triple rear camera, the same as Z Fold7. It could be the same as Galaxy S25 Ultra in the S25 series although it’s better to hold our horses and wait for the Unpacked 2025 to unfold.
Speculations suggest Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra will have a slim profile with 4.5mm of thickness when unfolded and 8-9mm when it is closed. Samsung is probably banking on the ‘slimmest foldable’ tag on the Fold7 Ultra although let’s see how it all holds up. We could see a large 6.5” cover and a 8” primary display on-board which is probably why Samsung is calling it an ‘Ultra’. We could see potential camera and battery performance gains as well although let’s keep our fingers crossed for now.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7
Launch Date: July 9
If not Fold7 Ultra, which we are not really confident about, the Galaxy Z Flip7 will definitely make it to the Unpacked 2025, just as last year and a year before that. Z Flip7 follows the same clamshell design as Flip6, hosting a slightly larger primary 6.85” display. In fact, speculations suggest we could see a larger 4” cover display as well but there is more. The phone will see a large 4,300mAh battery, possibly to gain more hours on the clock and to complement the gains the Galaxy S25 series saw in terms of battery performance.
Unlike the Galaxy Fold7, the Galaxy Flip7 will stick to Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2500 SoC possibly across the board. There’s also a Flip7 FE in the works that we will get to in a bit. Talking about Flip7 for now, the phone will see OneUI 8.0 on-board paired with Android 16 and a slew of new Galaxy AI tools that will possibly raise its stake in the foldable smartphones market. The phone is likely to reckon on its price tag though but hey, isn’t that the case with each upgrade?
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE
Launch Date: July 9
Well, if you want to stick with a clamshell design under ‘Samsung’ branding but don’t want to pay a fortune, stick around to see Galaxy Z Flip7 FE. The phone is likely to mimic Galaxy Z Flip7 but slapped with last year’s flagship Exynos 2400 SoC or if Samsung wants to surprise us we might see Exynos 2500 SoC, who knows?
Expected specs include an aluminum frame with a glass back, a 3.4” 60Hz cover screen, a 4000mAH battery pack, 8GB of RAM, and possibly the same camera setup as Galaxy Z Flip6. In fact, some speculate Z Flip7 FE will definitely be a Z Flip6 rebadged to align with the latest series but hey, it will be the first for an ‘FE’ variant on a foldable device so let’s cross our fingers and hope for the best.

You get four colorways to choose from – Ashleigh Blue, Greener Pastures, Dresden Blue, and PANTONE Cattleya Orchid. The speculated price tag on the model is INR 20,000/- for its base variant although let’s keep that up for discussion when the phone actually arrives.

It is equipped with a 6,600mAh battery alongside 66W SuperCharge tech. On the camera front, we see a 108MP primary cam with 3x lossless zoom, OIS, and EIS, and a bunch of AI features to go with.
