After waiting for quite a while, the OnePlus N6 launched in India as part of a new N-series on June 30, sitting right under Nord CE6 Lite. The phone brings a credible specs sheet on board, plus long battery life, the OxygenOS experience, and durability features, while keeping the price ‘affordable.’
OnePlus N6 specifications
Well, the OnePlus N6 is finally here as a new addition to OnePlus’ portfolio in the country, with better pricing than the Nord Series.
The OnePlus N6 brings in a 6.8” 720p LCD panel boasting a refresh rate of 120Hz, plus up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness. On the powertrain, a Dimensity 6360 Apex SoC supports the device with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, UFS 2.2 storage, and LPDDR4X RAM. There’s also a 5,300mm² vapor chamber cooling system that should be able to keep the phone’s temperature in check when used for gaming and heavy apps.
Moving on, the phone runs on Android 16-backed OxygenOS 16 plus two years of major Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates. Since we are actively getting phones with larger battery sizes, OnePlus wouldn’t remain behind. OnePlus N6 brings an 8,000mAh battery plus 45W SuperVOOC charging tech, with a capability to withstand up to 1,600 charge cycles while retaining at least 80% of its original capacity.
On the optics front, OnePlus N6 has a dual camera setup – 50MP f/1.8 aperture plus a 1/2.88-inch rear camera plus a 2MP monochrome sensor. Plus, there’s an 8MP selfie front camera. The phone supports up to 60fps of 1080p video recording.
The OnePlus N6 takes on durability to the next level with MIL-STD-810H certification, an IP65 rating, and ArmorShell Protection. Other specs include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 5, a Type-C port, GPS, Bluetooth v5.3, 5G, and dual-SIM support.
OnePlus N6 price in India and availability
The OnePlus N6 has arrived in India as a single model under this new series with two variants, and the pricing is as follows.
- OnePlus N6 (4GB+128GB) – ₹22,999/-
- OnePlus N6 (6GB+128GB) – ₹24,999/-
OnePlus is offering a massive instant bank discount of ₹2,000/-, plus there’s an Amazon Prime discount of an additional ₹1,000/-, which brings the effective price tags of ₹19,999/- and ₹21,999/-, respectively.
The phone is available on Amazon India (of course), with Prime members getting the additional discount. Additionally, you can purchase it from the OnePlus Store app, and the OnePlus Experience Stores plus all major partner retail outlets in India. The phone might not launch outside India, and thus, the Indian pricing is aforementioned. The phone will go on sale on July 4. You can choose between Midnight Black and Fresh Mint colorways.
