September 12 – Mark the date as it’s all set in stone now. It is because Apple has pegged the date for its upcoming Apple Event tagged as ‘Wonderlust’. The event will air on September 12 on apple.com, Youtube, and Apple TV app at 10 am PT or 10.30 pm IST.

As you already know, the iPhone 15 series will make its splash at the event. The series has iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max that might end up being called iPhone 15 Ultra although that remains to be seen.

iPhone 15 series brings a few upgrades onboard. The 3nm Apple A17 Bionic chipset will mark a leap in performance onboard the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. It will get a titanium frame moving away from the stainless steel frames. There’s a periscope zoom camera in the marks too which is likely to be the biggest in smartphones at 300m. To put things into perspective, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has a periscope camera with a focal length of 230mm. There’s a programmable Action button in the works for the Pro devices.

Coming to the entire series, we will get a USB-C across the board as Apple follows the EU mandate. There’s Dynamic Island that will make sure all four models get to enjoy a seamless viewing experience. Of course, these aren’t the only changes potentially in the works but these are a few worthy noting down.

Apple Watch Series 9 will make its appearance at the event too. It will be powered by the same chipset as iPhone 13 aka Apple Bionic A15. It is known as the S9 chipset and will power the Apple Watch Ultra 2 also launching during the Wonderlust Apple Event.
