According to an update from Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple is likely delaying the release of its AI-powered Siri due to ongoing engineering issues and software bugs. While the company has not officially confirmed this, it did showcase Siri’s AI capabilities at the June 2024 WWDC event, sparking curiosity among users.
The launch of Siri AI was initially expected to coincide with the release of iOS 18.4 in April. However, ongoing software bugs may delay the rollout until as late as May with the iOS 18.5 update. In fact, there is no confirmed date yet, as Apple may push the update further to ensure Siri AI works flawlessly.
