Google is preparing to introduce its next-generation smartwatch, the Pixel Watch 4, slated to release later this year along with the Pixel 10 series. Although official information is still being kept secret, recently leaked renders posted by reliable tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) in collaboration with 91mobiles provide an early look at the wearable’s refreshed design.
Familiar Look with Refined Tweaks
Based on the 5K renders, the Pixel Watch 4 retains the iconic circular shape of its predecessor, the Pixel Watch 3, but has a few significant design improvements. The bezels look thinner, providing a more seamless appearance, and the back panel design is remarkably similar to that of the original Pixel Watch.
One of the most notable visual changes is the lack of the four charging pins that were located on the Pixel Watch 3. This has sparked rumors that the Pixel Watch 4 will include wireless charging in place of the USB Type-C charging system that the device currently employs.
Two Sizes and Possible Battery Boost
The Pixel Watch 4 should be released in two sizes, 41 mm and 45 mm, similar to what was offered last year. That said, the phone is said to be thicker at 14.3 mm than the 12.3 mm of the Pixel Watch 3. Though the specific reason for the extra thickness isn’t confirmed, it may imply an increased battery size for longer usage.

Potential Hardware Improvements
