OnePlus 6 launch is just around the corner and it seems like we now have every possible detail about the upcoming flagship device. The brand is simply not leaving any chance of creating a buzz by revealing the important aspects of the device itself.  The CEO Pete Lau has been disclosing the smartphone through various social media platforms.

OnePlus 6 is going to feature a glass back and an-all glass design as confirmed by the CEO in a post on the OnePlus forum. He also mentioned that the glass back will hold on to the horizon line design and curved back as seen in previous generations of OnePlus devices. Apart from that, he speaks about the importance of design and how the OnePlus 6 will be levels ahead of its older generation.

The Shenzen based smartphone company has claimed that they tried around 70 different glass material before choosing this one. It is clear that the brand is trying to up its game by giving much more premium feel as compared to their earlier devices.

If we look at the history of the material used by the OnePlus, this is the second time they are revamping the body of its phone. From Sandstone in OnePlus 1 and OnePlus 2 to the metal chassis in OnePlus 3, we will now see an all-glass design.

Summing up what we know about this device till now, the smartphone is going to have an iPhone X type notch on the top of the screen. Apart from using new material,  the OnePlus 6 is also expected to arrive with water and dust-resistant capabilities. No doubt, the smartphone will run on the latest flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. You will now have an option to choose 8GB RAM variant alongside 256GB of internal storage.

Since the device is now coming with the glass back, we can say there is a high chance of getting a wireless charging support. Looking at the ongoing trend, the device will have a face charging feature with the fingerprint sensor at the back. We don’t have much information on the cameras but the dual camera is definitely sitting at the back.

We are expecting OnePlus to launch this device somewhere in the middle of May. The OnePlus 6 launch notification page is already live on the Amazon India website. Talking about the pricing, we’re expecting 35,000 – 40,000 for 6GB variant while the  8GB variant price might reach 48,000.
