OpenAI has announced the launch of ChatGPT Go in India, a new subscription plan designed to give users expanded access to its popular AI platform at a lower price point. Key features of ChatGPT Go

ChatGPT Go subscription introduces several upgrades that make it more powerful and accessible than the free version. Users gain extended access to OpenAI’s flagship GPT-5 model, enabling richer and more advanced conversations. Along with this, the plan expands image generation capabilities, allowing individuals to create more visuals for personal, creative, or professional projects.

Another major benefit is the ability to upload and analyze more files, including documents, spreadsheets, and PDFs. This is complemented by advanced data analysis tools such as Python, which can be used more frequently to solve problems, perform research, and process complex information.

ChatGPT Go also offers a longer memory, which makes it easier to keep track of a conversation and get more personalized responses. The plan also allows users to organize projects, track tasks, and create custom GPTs, giving them more control and flexibility to fit the AI into their specific needs.

According to Nick Turley, Vice President at OpenAI and head of ChatGPT, the Go plan increases allowances for messages, image generation, and file uploads by ten times compared to the free tier, while also offering improved memory retention.

Pricing and availability

In India, you can get the ChatGPT Go plan for ₹399 per month. The billing is automatic each month, and you can pay with either a credit card or UPI, which gives local users flexible payment options.
