Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO just made a splash with its iQOO Neo5 launched in China on March 16. Cut to now, there are reports that it is likely to give the title of “ latest arrival” to iQOO Z3 as well as iQOO U3x which is speculated to arrive by the end of this month. Although we don’t know much about U3x, the iQOO Z3 had made its entrance after the company posted a teaser poster announcing the incoming device and that it will have a 5G support. The device has a model number V2073A that has already been linked to a previous report whereby the device got its certification from the 3C authority of China.
Now, the iQOO Z3 has been spotted on Google Play Console with a plethora of details. The device with model number V2073A sports 6GB RAM and has an SM7250 chip-on-board. It could be either Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G that we have already seen with OnePlus Nord or it could be its over-clocked version aptly named Snapdragon 768G. There’s a strong affirmation that the device will perhaps pack the latest Snapdragon 768G chipset. The listing does mention that the chipset will have a Kryo 475 core clocked at 2.4GHz followed by another Kryo 475 at 2.2GHz and 6 Kryo 475 cores clocked at 1.8GHz.
Further, the Google Play Console shares other information including that V2073A will have an FHD+ display with 1080×2408 pixels resolution and a 480PPI density. It is likely to hold an LCD panel with an eccentric 144Hz refresh rate. Other details include a Sony IMX598 48MP primary snapper at the back with a rear back panel.
According to 3C certification, the device is likely to get a 55W fast charging support which is a 25 percent increase over the iQOO Z1 which had a 44W fast charging tech. As usual, the device will have arrived with Android 11 out-of-the-box probably based on OriginOS at least in China.
Vivo hasn’t disclosed the date of launch yet but we assume that it could arrive in a few weeks’ time probably by the end of March 2021 if previous reports are believed.
