- Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is in-line to launch in early 2025 and seems like it will be the slimmest flagship phone from the South Korean firm.
- Galaxy S25 Ultra reportedly sees a taller, a less broader and slimmer profile than its predecessor.
- Galaxy S25 Ultra will see a titanium frame rails as per the reports.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is four months away, but as always, the leaks are coming from left and right teasing the various features it would bring to the table. The latest to hit the market is from tipster Ice Universe according to whom, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will see a major change in design with a slimmer, taller, and less broad profile.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Could be the Slimmest Samsung Flagship
Tipster Ice Universe came up with the said dimensions for Galaxy S25 Ultra — 162.8 × 77.6 × 8.2mm. This would actually make the S25 Ultra the slimmest flagship phone in the Galaxy S-series in recent times. Note that the slimmest phone stands at 7mm and that’s the Galaxy S6 released almost a decade ago.
Circling back to the S25 Ultra, the phone is 0.1mm thinner than the S24 Ultra. It surely doesn’t look like a lot but given the real estate smartphones are built on, a 0.1mm does make a lot of difference as Samsung had to literally change the internals to correspond to the said thickness.
Although I might be wrong but seems like the South Korean giant has adjusted the same in terms of height to accommodate more stuff, for instance, the upcoming flagship stands at 77.6mm in width and 162.8mm in height. This makes the S25U 0.5mm taller than the S24U and that’s huge. We see a size reduction in the width itself at 1.4mm compared to the predecessor.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to get a titanium side rail with dust and water resistance (probably IP69). According to the sources, we should be getting a 45W charging tech with the S25U, a 5000mAh battery, and a new chipset aka Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC out-of-the-box to name a few.
