A new smartphone from Xiaomi has appeared on Chinese certification site TENAA. Based on the leaks, it could be either the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi 7 or Redmi 7 Pro. At first, images featuring the front, back, and sides appeared on the site, however, TENAA later added the specs sheet for the said smartphone bearing model number M1901F9T.
According to the reports, Xiaomi Redmi 7/Redmi 7 Pro will sport an octa-core SoC clocked at a maximum frequency of 2.3GHz. The phone will be available in around eleven color variants including the colors that the Chinese smartphone maker offers that will set a new record for the maker.
About the specs, the device will sport a 5.84-inch LCD HD+ display featuring a tall 19:9 ratio. It offers 3/4/6GB RAM variants along with internal storage variants varying from 32/64/128GB while a different source suggests that the phone maxes at 256GB when it comes to the highest variant with the larger storage size.
Weighing at 150 grams, the phone will have dimensions of 147.7×71.9×7.8 while the rear camera setup protrudes few millimeters outside the rear panel which is something Xiaomi is known for a long time. The main dual-camera setup at the back offers a 12MP main sensor and a secondary sensor of yet unknown sensor size while the selfie shooter supposedly camouflaged in the first-ever waterdrop notch for the OEMs which is a subtle 8MP sensor.
GSMArena quotes that the phone will be available in Pink, Gray, Silver, Purple, Red, Black, White, Yellow, Green, Gold, and Blue. The phone will have Android Oreo 8.1 out-of-the-box with the skin of Xiaomi MIUI bundled with it. If you want to know the Xiaomi Redmi 7 release date, the thing is simple. Xiaomi hasn’t actually announced any release date as of now, however, Xiaomi is organizing a Xiaomi Play event on December 24 when the phone could potentially launch and it is just a matter of few days before the phone unveils if indeed Xiaomi chooses to launch it.
