Vivo has officially launched the newest additions to the Vivo X200 Series, the Vivo X200s and the Vivo X200 Ultra, in China. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer pairs a flagship-level performance and innovative camera for both devices. Clearly, the X200s and X200 Ultra target different market segments. While the X200s balances performance and portability, the X200 Ultra stands out as a flagship for mobile photography enthusiasts.

Sleek Design Meets Premium Displays
The Vivo X200s boasts a 6.67-inch 1.5K LTPS BOE display, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and a whopping peak brightness of 5000 nits, which is great for high-visibility outdoor usage. The phone is only 7.99 mm thick and weighs a mere 203g, providing a slender and light form factor. It also comes with IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings, wrapped in a sturdy aluminum alloy frame.

In the meantime, the Vivo X200 Ultra takes a leap forward with a 6.82-inch quad-curved LTPO OLED screen, providing 2K resolution, 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and 2160Hz PWM dimming for richer interactions and true-to-life images. As powerful as its feature profile is, the Ultra version still has a slender figure at 8.99 mm thickness and tips the scales at 229g. It even boasts an IP69 certification, providing best-in-class protection.

Flagship-Grade Performance: MediaTek and Snapdragon Go Head-to-Head
Under the hood, the Vivo X200s is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC and is accompanied by an Icefield liquid cooling system for optimal thermal management. Additionally, it features up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage.
Comparatively, the X200 Ultra relies on the hefty Snapdragon 8 Elite processor along with Vivo’s in-house VS1 and V3+ image chips, the first to pre-process images to lessen the SoC’s workload and the second for post-processing of images for richer imagery. The phone also features up to 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage, providing sufficient headroom for heavy apps and multitasking.
Zeiss Optics and Pro-Level Imaging
The X200s features a triple 50MP rear camera configuration with a main sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP IMX882 Zeiss telephoto lens supporting 3x optical zoom. Vivo has made available a brand-new image enhance algorithm that yields clear, good-quality shots at magnifications more than 10x. Rounding out the setup is a 32MP selfie shooter on the front side.
The X200 Ultra, on a different note, is a camera for professionals. It comes equipped with:
- 50MP Sony LYT-818 OIS main camera
- 50MP Sony LYT-818 ultra-wide-angle sensor
- 200MP Samsung HP9 periscope telephoto lens with Zeiss APO, 85 mm focal length, and super-light prism technology
- World’s first large three-group lens design periscope
- OIS support across lenses
- 50MP front camera
The Ultra is treated to Zeiss T lens coating, enhanced HDR capability, and deep integration with Vivo’s in-house imaging chips for real-time computation photography. It also has support for 4K 60fps 10-bit Log video, 4K 120fps slow-motion, and industry-first 4K time-lapse photography.

Moreover, there is a new camera control key that provides features such as double-click quick start, slide zoom, light press to focus lock, full press shutter, long press for shooting burst, and sliding to control exposure.
Vivo also offered a 2.35x telephoto teleconverter co-engineered with Zeiss, with a focal length of 200 mm, F2.3 aperture, and 13 high-transmittance glass lenses in a Kepler design.
Long-Lasting Batteries and Fast Charging
The Vivo X200s has a 6200mAh battery, complete with 90W wired and 40W wireless fast charging, combining endurance and convenience.
The X200 Ultra, though marginally smaller at 6000mAh, also has 90W wired and 40W wireless charging capabilities. Both phones are powered by OriginOS 5 running on Android 15, with a clean, customizable interface.
Other features of the X200 Ultra are an X-axis linear vibration motor, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and IR remote control for additional functionality.
