Coming to the software part, the vivo X300 and X300 Pro ship with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Additionally, vivo has confirmed support for up to five years of OS updates and seven years of security patches for these models.

ZEISS-backed camera system

The vivo X300 series focuses on camera technology with a ZEISS‑co‑engineered imaging system. The X300 carries a 200MP Samsung HPB main sensor for detailed photos with better light capture. It comes with a 50MP ultra‑wide lens for wide landscapes and a 50MP Sony LYT602 periscope telephoto camera with OIS and telemacro support.

On the other hand, the vivo X300 Pro equips a 50MP Sony LYT828 main sensor, which offers better dynamic range and improved low‑light shots. It also has a 50MP ultra‑wide lens and a 200MP Samsung HPB periscope telephoto camera with up to 3.7x optical zoom.

vivo has further incorporated its in-house imaging chips, which assist the system to deliver advanced photography capabilities and 4K HDR cinematic portrait video. On the front side, both models feature a high‑resolution 50MP front camera for sharp selfies and video calls.

Additionally, the X300 series also supports a ZEISS 2.35x teleconverter accessory, which uses high‑transparency glass and ultra‑low dispersion lenses to refine optical zoom. This addition brings professional‑grade shooting capabilities to mobile users.
