After the success of Mi A1, Xiaomi seems to be geared up to launch yet another device into the market. Xiaomi Mi A1, which was known as Mi 5X in the Chinese market, is the predecessor to the leaked Mi 6X. Just like any other leak of Xiaomi devices, the Mi 6X was also revealed on the Chinese micro-blogging site, Weibo.
A leaked image on Weibo suggests the Mi 6X will sport an iPhone X-like vertical dual-camera setup. The image only reveals the back panel of the device and hence there’s nothing much we can say about it at the moment. The LED flash seems to be shoved right between the two camera sensors.
Other than the dual-camera setup, the build quality of the device seems to be metallic and one thing worth noting is that the fingerprint scanner is nowhere to be seen. According to some sources, the circular hole in the middle of the back panel may be for the fingerprint scanner placement, but one must never rule out the possibility of an under-display scanner.
A leak referring to the Mi 6X was seen earlier with a photo of the TPU case which showed off the speaker grill to the bottom of the device with the 3.5mm headphone jack right next to it. Other than the images, there is nothing else revealed but if we go by other leaks, the Mi 6X might be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with 6GB RAM. The 6X isn’t actually expected to come with a 6GB variant but an official announcement from the company is yet to arrive and hence these rumours should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Going by the rumours, Xiaomi may be working on the Mi Max 3 Phablet which may house the bezel-less design and also the Mi A2 which will be the successor to the Mi A1 that launched back in 2017.
