Setup Deluxe 1 – Bringing beast gaming setups!

What’s up everyone, once again we have BigBadroid here to show off some beast gaming setups, with a new series in partnership with other YouTubers and us (TrueTech). While he did the best $1000 gaming setup on his channel and on our website a few weeks ago, this time its a little different as today, he’s not talking about his setup, but rather about the setups that his fans submitted belonging to his new series ‘Setup Deluxe’. So, lets see what we’ve got.

For today, we have this amazing setup from ClarkeAfterDark. He’s rockin’ a Black and white setup that sits on the Ikea Linmon Tabletop with 4 Adjustable Legs which looks sturdy enough to bear the weight of any heavy PC with ease.

Peripherals

For the Monitors, he has 2 LG Ultra wide monitors stacked one on top of the other; we found this really unique as not many people setup their monitors like this. As for the pereperals, Clarke has a Corsair Strafe RGB Keyboard with cherry MX Silent switches, Razer Orbweaver Chroma Keypad, Mionix castor Mouse and a Logitech C 920 webcam. He’s also in possession of an Nvidia controller and an Xbox One controller on the desk. To step up the audio game, he has a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and Focusrite Scarlett Studio mic, both custom painted white and M-audio BX5a Studio Monitors.

Decorations

For more decoration for his desk, he has a Fallout mininuke, Darksiders II Mask and Fallout Bobblehead.

Main PC

The whole setup is powered by the components inside this nicely custom painted NZXT H440 cabinet. It supports an Asus X99 Deluxe motherboard which holds the intel i7 5930K CPU that is overclocked to 4.5Ghz; and since it is overclocked so high, he’s installed a Corsair H100i Liquid cooler to keep things going.  As for the R RAM, this PC runs 16 Gigs of Corsair lLPX DDR4 RAM clocked at 3000Mhz! That’s gotta be really really fast. Along with that, it has an Asus Gtx 980 strix. All these parts of the PC are handled and run by a 750 Watts power supply from Corsair- The HX750I. Talking about storage, it isn’t lacking anything in this aspect either, with a 3TB WD RED for keeping his games and stuff and another 1TB WD RED for only and only raw files for his youtube videos. If you think that much was enough, think again; he also has a 225 Gig SSD for storage and fast boots and another 250Gig SSD just for cached data. With this, he’s made sure there are no hiccups at anytime of use.

What? A server PC?

Other than his main PC, he also has a server PC. Let’s just quickly go over the specs:
Fractal design R4 Cabinet
Gigabyte X99 UD3P Motherboard
Intel i7 5820K CPU
Coolermaster Hyper 212 evo CPU Cooler
16 Gigs of Corsair lLPX DDR4 RAM clocked at 3000Mhz!
MSI R9 270X Graphics card
Corsair CX 750M Power supply
APC Back UPS 1080VA UPS
and HOLY cow! 5 x 3TB WD RED NAS Hard Drives. That’s 15TB of storage. Imagine the amount of ‘important documents’  you can store in this little puppy!

Conclusion

Lets just take minute to appreciate the Looks of this entire build. We love the way he has organized everything on his desk and placed LED Lights everywhere to give it that awesome illuminating effect. He has a basic setup of black and white and its as if when he feels the need for some change, he turns everything into a rainbow and refresh himself. With such a beast of a setup, he hasn’t ignored the cables. They’ve  been managed perfectly and are off the ground. However, we do think it’d look a lot better if he could remove the extra stuff like the bobble-head and  skull from your table and get those headsets off the wall and put them on black headphone hangers under the desk. Also try to hide those controllers off of your desk if possible. This would really give it a much cleaner look. The white guitar that you got back there doesn’t really pop out for obvious reasons so either you could paint it black or just remove it and find some other place to put it in.

Bonus Words

“I really like the efforts u put in to maintain the colour scheme even with the black and white DT Omega Gaming Racer Chair.”
“Now Clarke, I need answers.. Do u still have both your kidneys? I hope you do, because all that stuff costs a hell lotta money dude!”
