The Samsung Galaxy M10 is slated to launch on Amazon India and Samsung.com on January 28 as an exclusive India-first release. But the fact remains that we don’t know much about the device yet. Enters the latest schematic layout posted by SlashLeaks which gives an insight on how the smartphone will look and what it will offer.
To commence with, the Galaxy M10 will have a dimension of 155.6×75.6×7.7mm and weighs just 160g. It will be the lowest in the already budget M-series of smartphones from Samsung. It will feature a 6.2-inch IPS LCD* display with a unique Infinity-V display which in common words is known as a waterdrop-shaped notch accompanies by thin bezels around the edges along with a slightly thick chin.
Moving further, SlashLeaks has squashed the leak that it will feature an Exynos 7870 chipset while the M10 will feature a slightly faster Exynos 7872 hexa-core SoC. The device will be powered by 2GB and 3GB RAM variants along with a 3,400 mAh battery under the hood that will make happen magic on a budget smartphone expected to launch under a Rs 10,000/- price range.
Other specs that it will carry is a 3.5mm headphone jack, a dual-camera setup at the back with a 13MP (1.12micrometer, f/1.9) primary lens and a 5MP depth sensor along with a single front camera probably an 8MP snapper that will be housed within the waterdrop notch.
The Samsung Galaxy M10 will not have a fingerprint scanner and no NFC or 5GHZ Wi-Fi either, although it will run on Android 8.1 Oreo. Being the most affordable smartphone in the M-series, Galaxy M10 will be tagged at a price tag of Rs 10,000/- on Amazon India and Samsung.com while its high-end Galaxy M20 will have a price tag of Rs 15,000/- while the higher Galaxy M30 will have a price tag of Rs 20,000/- although these aren’t the official price tags as it is not yet disclosed.
