Xiaomi launched its first-ever gaming smartphone “Black Shark” in April 2018 with SDM845 and 8GB RAM. Later, it launched a boosted iteration named “Black Shark Hello” bundled with SDM845 octa-core and 10GB RAM. According to the latest post on Weibo by none other than Wang Teng Thomas (Product Director, Xiaomi) stated that the Chinese smartphone maker is working on the second-gen Xiaomi Black Shark 2 device.
In fact, we have a recently pulled out benchmark scores for upcoming Black Shark 2 on Geekbench 4.0 according to which, it managed to hit a colossal 3,494 points on single-core test while an impressive 11,149 points on multi-core test which puts it somewhat in the line with the latest Samsung Galaxy S10+ with Exynos 9820 8nm chipset that was released recently.
The Past Xiaomi Black Shark/Helo Specs
Xiaomi has been working on the Black Shark 2 for a few months ago and will roll out the device with the newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core SoC bundled with 8GB RAM and the much-need Android 9.0 Pie OS making it one of the reliable smartphone to indulge in when it comes to playing graphics-intensive games like Fortnite, PUBG, Asphalt 8, and others.
The Xiaomi Black Shark was launched in April 2018 with a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with SDM845, Adreno 630, 6/8GB RAM and a 64/128GB internal storage configurations. The device is boasted with a dual 12+20MP rear snapper powered by an aperture of f/1.8, 1.25micrometer pixel size (main) and 1.0micrometer (secondary) with a 2x optical zoom capability while the front has an impressive 20MP snapper in case if you want to continue shooting yourself whilst playing games and streaming it online and that’s all without any performance glitch.
The October 2018 released Xiaomi Black Shark Helo received few enhancements such as a little larger 6.01-inch FHD+ display with 6/8 and maximum 10GB RAM variant with 128/256GB internal storage configurations.
