Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 Geekbench Scores Will Leave You Spell-bound
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC is reportedly on its way to score 4,000 points on single-core and 11,000 points on multi-core tests on Geekbench 6. These results are impressive given the fact that the predecessor scored around 3,100 points and 9,800 points, respectively.
To put the performance boost in perspective of percentages, we are expecting a 20-30% hike in single-core and a 10-15% hike in multi-core scores. Although it isn’t a giant leap, we are still expecting smartphone makers to be able to bank on the increased performance along with their flagship devices by the end of this year.

Apparently, the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 Geekbench scores reveal the chipset could outrun Apple A19 Pro in multi-core tests which is reportedly 10,000 points. For the uninitiated, the Adreno 830 GPU on the Snapdragon 8 Elite already outperforms that of the A18 Pro. I am certain that the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will leave no stone unturned when it comes to performance leaps and the end results.
When it comes to the launch, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC is set to debut in late September. In fact, it’s the same month when Apple’s A19 Pro and MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 SoC launched around the same time making this month a very busy one.
As usual, a host of devices are likely to get their hands on these flagship phones possibly starting with Xiaomi. There’s OnePlus, Vivo, Oppo, Samsung, Asus and other OEMs preparing for their flagship phones either taking on Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 or Dimensity 9500 SoC. It is not a shocker that the A19 Pro SoC is reserved for iPhone 17 Pro series.
